So far, we’ve raised $2.92 million for our 2024 – 2025 Community Campaign! With four months left, we’re continuing to inspire Alaskans to help our community thrive.
Donations and pledges made by local workplaces and people across Alaska make the work we do possible. Every donor chooses how we use their gifts.
- Is supporting and increasing education your top priority?
- Do you think financial stability is the most pressing issue?
- Does access to medical care and health insurance matter most to you?
- Are you motivated to help more people find permanent housing?
- Is referring Alaskans to resources and services your driving concern?
If you’re thinking, “I care about all of these” or “Aren’t these all connected?” you have a choice too. You can designate your donation or pledge to our Community Fund.
Most donors come to us through a workplace campaign run by their employer. As of mid-February, 51 workplace campaigns have already run and raised $2,131,505. Of that amount, 58% has come from individual employees’ donations and pledges, 34% from corporate donations and 8% from workplace events. Run a workplace campaign.
Another $789,584 in donations and pledges have come from people independent of workplace campaigns and other sources. Often, they first learned about United Way while working for a previous employer that ran one. Their ongoing commitment to us shows how much they believe in our work and results. Pledge now.
There’s a quarter of the year left in our 2024 – 2025 Community Campaign. More workplaces will run campaigns. More events with fundraising opportunities will occur. What do those two things mean? More donations and pledges will come in to help more Alaskans thrive. Will you help us create and fund more solutions to our community’s toughest challenges?
