For 39 years, Lynden has run a workplace campaign. It supports communities throughout Alaska and around the world by providing innovative transportation solutions. Lynden also extends its support to Alaska communities by participating in our Community Campaign.
Lynden’s committed to charitable giving, which stems from its core values. A key part of giving requires fostering connection with people and opportunities in communities. By empowering its employees to support causes that matter to them, Lynden promotes a strong, caring culture. That’s why it runs our workplace campaigns.
We provide Lynden and its employees with ways to engage in, support and bolster communities. No matter where they live, work or play, they can contribute to the health and wellbeing of their community members. For every dollar an employee donates, Lynden matches it. That’s what we call, “Amplified impact!”
Lynden’s gifts don’t stop there, though. It connects resources to community members with pressing needs. Here’s one of our favorite Lynden stories. A couple years ago, the company ended up with a surplus of children’s boots. They called us, and we connected Lynden to our funded partners who could distribute the boots.
“That’s why United Way is so impactful,” a Lynden representative said. “One call allowed us to reach those who most needed this resource.” Our efficiency and effectiveness were heartwarming to Lynden. They literally got boots on the ground.
As Lynden prepares to launch its 2024 workplace campaign for United Way, it’s celebrating the generosity of its employees. By showing others how our work improves lives, Lynden is amplifying its impact on its communities, employees and culture. Thank you!
