In 2024, United Way of Anchorage has a GivingTuesday twist for our supporters.
GivingTuesday begets GettingTuesday.
GivingTuesday is on Tues., Dec. 3, 2024 and encourages people worldwide to donate. Will you please support us? Our Community Fund helps Alaskans meet their basic needs. How? We strengthen and advance:
- Strong education and reliable child care.
- Financial stability and job security.
- Quality health insurance coverage and accessible medical care.
What then is GettingTuesday? GettingTuesday is what we’re calling Tues., Jan. 7, 2025. On that day, we’re drawing one lucky person’s ticket from all the ones entered in our raffle. The winner receives two Alaska Airlines Main Cabin roundtrip vouchers, generously donated by Alaska Airlines and valued at $1,250 each. Enter our raffle!
Buying raffle tickets on GivingTuesday accomplishes three things at once.
- Participate in an international effort to prop up nonprofits.
- Support United Way’s Community Fund.
- Receive raffle tickets for every $50 payment made.
Our raffle ticket sales run until 12 noon on Tues., Jan. 31, 2024. Donating on GivingTuesday is extra special, though.
