National Volunteer week
April 20, 2025 marks the start of National Volunteer Week. It celebrates volunteers and encourages us all to be active participants in improving our community. We’ll be highlighting people and sharing information about events so that you can get involved.

Nonprofits work relentlessly to strengthen our community. From June 2 to 5, 2025, our staff will support our funded partners by giving our time and energy to them by volunteering. We’ll coordinate with them to discover what they need and make it happen.

DAY OF ACTION
On June 21, 2025 volunteers worldwide will unite for United Way’s Day of Action. From planting community gardens to packing backpacks for kids, we offer community members powerful ways to make big impacts. Contact us to learn how you can get involved.
Leadership Picnic
People who give $1,000 or more within a 12-month period are invited to our Leadership Picnic. These donors value United Way of Anchorage, and we value them. In 2025, the event will occur on July 10 at the Anchorage Zoo. Thank you for all your support!

2025 Community Campaign kickoff
We raise support for work that helps Alaskans thrive. To start our annual efforts, our Community Campaign Kickoff will be on Sept. 4, 2025 at the Dena’ina Center. Community members join together to advance our shared vision by making pledges and offering gifts.
