WE’RE EXCITED YOU’VE COME TO OUR COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN CENTER!
We’ve contributed to positive change in our community for decades, thanks to our caring, generous supporters. Many people began giving to United way of Anchorage during a workplace campaign. It’s still our primary way to involve others and update them about our work.
Listen to our public service announcement, produced for Alaska Public Media, to learn more about our work and Community Campaign.
Community Campaign
Our annual fundraising drive is our primary way to encourage people to support United Way and other charitable causes. For decades, Community Campaigns have contributed to positive change. We create and fund solutions that help people achieve their potential.
Workplace campaign
When a for-profit, nonprofit or public organization runs an event or series of events to support our Community Campaign, it’s a workplace campaign. We coordinate with workplaces headquartered in the Anchorage area. We empower people to support nonprofits.
Philanthropy representatives
We have a team that assists workplaces. They help you plan, run and closeout a successful workplace campaign. We also have resources on our website for you to download and use. If you have questions or need help, please email philanthropy@ak.org or call (907) 263-3814.
COMMUNITY CAMPAIGN KICKOFF
Our Community Campaign kicked off on Sept. 12 at The Chalet at Kincaid Park. It helps us raise funds to achieve big goals. We’re striving to cover expenses for children in-need, empower students to graduate, connect people to shelter and make referrals for help.
WORKPLACE CAMPAIGNS
Workplace campaigns build employees’ morale and loyalty and strengthen their culture of caring. They connect donors to a network of vetted, respected nonprofits. Workplace campaigns flow into our Community Campaign to create and fund solutions.
SHAREABLE RESOURCES
Workplace campaigns create meaningful ways to engage employees. They’re inspired to give and volunteer. The support makes a difference in many of our community members’ and fellow Alaskans’ lives. We offer resources to assist with workplace campaigns.
