This staff member helps plan and implement strategies that improve graduation rates and prepare students for careers and college. They work with our Community Impact team, Anchorage School District (ASD) Academies of Anchorage (AoA) leaders and coaches, School Business Partnership and other organizations in our community, including workplaces. Accounts Payable and Payroll Associate
This staff member accurately and timely processes all accounts payable and payroll transactions, which protects our financial assets and maintains our good standing with vendors and employees. They play a critical role in our financial operations. The associate collects, calculates and enters payroll information. They also process bi-weekly and supplemental payrolls. Director of Marketing and Communications
The staff member leads our marketing and communications team to share stories about our work to improve our community. They direct all branding, advertising campaigns, online and print marketing, external and internal communications plans and social media plans as well as advocacy, outreach and engagement efforts. The director serves on our senior leadership team and advises on strategic communications. They work with our President and CEO to develop messages and set the tone and direction of communications. This staff member educates individuals, families and community partners about health insurance and coverage options available through the Health Insurance Marketplace or Medicaid. They convey accurate information to help people make informed decisions about health care coverage. They also engage in community outreach about the Marketplace and enrollment assistance. Housing Services Coordinator
This staff member supports landlords, case management teams and other community providers involved in United Way’s housing initiatives. Their primary responsibility is to operate the Landlord Housing Partnership.
