We’re helping kids move from their first words to their first jobs.
We support families on their children’s journeys. We encourage early reading at home, provide supports to vulnerable students and recruit workplaces to help prepare high-schoolers for their careers. We know that, United, we can raise successful, well-rounded students.
Stark disparities
Racial and ethnic groups, English-language learners, economically disadvantaged families and children with disabilities face disparate educational outcomes. All students deserve caring support, meaningful classes, invigorating experiences and career-path insights.
Career-path options
We’re expanding the educational opportunities for young people in our community. Some students want college degrees. Others want professional certifications. We’re helping both develop skills and confidence. Then they can achieve their goals and thrive in our community.
Academies of Anchorage
We nurture students so they move successfully from high school to life after graduation. We connect workplaces with the Anchorage School District so they can inspire and guide students. Their support prepares life-ready students who can reach their potential.
Child-centered supports
We prop up young people from their first words to their first jobs. As our community’s needs’ shift, families’ and children’s require different supports. Accordingly, our work is ever-evolving. We meet vulnerable student’s needs, increase graduation rates and connect families with resources.
