We’re delighted to announce, as of April 1, United Way has a new, permanent home.
You can now find us in the heart of Mountain View.
Wherever we’ve operated, we’ve created opportunities for everyone in our community to thrive. We made it here thanks to two significant contributors: ConocoPhillips Alaska and Global Credit Union. These two businesses welcomed us in their spaces to run our organization since 2001. Thank you!
Twenty years passed with United Way under ConocoPhillips’ roof. Then, starting in 2021, we spent three years using one of Global Credit Union’s office floors.
Their generous, sustained donations propelled our cause. We helped many community members achieve their potential by these businesses’ sides. Now, we’re continuing to advance our cause in our own space.
ConocoPhillips and Global Credit Union enabled us to plan and prepare to occupy our own building, located in the Success by 6 building. We’re excited to be here and plant our roots.
So many people made our move possible—we can’t come close to adequately celebrating everyone who pitched in, including our donors, our board and our staff. As most folks know, moving takes tons of work. The refrain, “Do we save this or toss it?” must be every packer’s motto. We heard it many times recently, and we feel confident we made the right decisions.
